    Daytime Running Lights for Inspection

    Hello,

I am doing my inspection on Saturday at a local mechanics place.

He has told me on the phone i need DRL's

I know there is this module from Canadian Tire

    http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en

    How would I hook this up to a R32 GT-R ?

There is an easy way to do drl's on a R32 without using a relay or overloading a circuit. I forget exactly what wires. If I had a pic i could tell you. its on the lights switch. Pull off the plastic piece around the cluster. Just pull it out. there are two plugs going to the switch. One has a big gauge blue wire (I think) Then a small gauge orange wire on the other plus on the end (i think). Cut the small wire and attach to the blue wire and then your running lights will come on with ignition. If you use a volt meter you can test for the ign source (big blue wire) and test for the running lights wire (orange I think). Easiest way to do it. Ive done around 50 R32's with them over the years and never overloaded a circuit or had any issues. Takes 5 min's and cost nothing!

+1 for this method, very fast and easy to do. I installed HID's shortly after inspection and just unplugged the wire at the fuse panel incase i ever need DRL's again I can just plug them back in
