Silicone ebay heater hose kit ??? Yes , NO?

    Hello guys,

I'M pulling my motor and I thought it would be wise to change those 20yr old rubber hose.

However, I tried but Nissan doesn't sell this kit and I don't want to start ordering 15 different hose.

Samco, IMO is way too expensive, it's like 200$ for 3-4 hoses.

So, who bought those ebay silicone kit? No-name or autobahn88 ? Would I be better to keep my 20yr than these kit?

OEM is the best, pay what ever they cost because they're the only set I know of that routinely last 20 years +

Exactly ^ What other hoses you know last that long?

Plus silicone will wear out in time from heat cycle and start to crack. They are good but for a short time.

I paid $350 for OEM coolant hoses under the plenum, includes stainless cooland distributor pipe rack. Got from C-unit if that means anthing. Still need air hoses after that.
    No build thread.

w/ silicon coolant hoses, you need to always check coolant levels.

It breathes water vapour out. I can't find the article on it, but I'd assume most of us do that on a regular basis anyways.
