    Hesitation when shifting

Hi everyone, I have done a search on the forum for my question but did not found what I want so here my problem:

Each time that I put my Skyline in WOT and shift to the upper gear, the car always have a small hesitation after the shift. It's seem like the turbo don't stay in full boost and took 1-2 seconds to charge again.

Does someone know what can cause the problem?? I have brand new coils, spark plugs and my MAF is in good working order. May it be just the way it has been tuned who cause this?

    Thank you,
    Simon.

    Hey Simon.
Sounds to me like maybe your waste gates might be sticking open. Which motor is it?

My motor is a rb20 with a T28 turbo. I just changed my stock actuator for an adjustable one and during the installation, the wastegate seem to work as it should to me.

    What BOV are you running?
    Is your TPS set properly?

I'm running an HSK atmospheric BOV(SSQV)

Yes, I think my TPS is set properly.

Maybe it's my BOV who drop too much pressure?

I am having the same problem with my car it is almost like I hit the brakes and then the turbo catches again and takes off. I have no idea so when you find out please let me know.

this might be along shot but I remember a friend over seas with a RB20 sktline and he figured it was from his timing belt being to tight ? I dont know if that would make a difference.
