Oil Pressure problems? Facken...

... or just crappy stock gauge? Or am i going a little too knitpicky....


I'm kinda having some issues with my GTST. Stock oil pressure gauge is reading just above zero, but my oil levels fine and cars running good. The gauge does move when i drive it but not where i think it should be per RPM range. halfway between 0 and 2 at idle, moves up to 2 @ about 4000, but randomly fluctuates at different times, sometimes dropping right to 0, sometimes shooting up to 4.5. Turn car off, start it again and it goes back to normal... for a bit.

No knocks or rough running or weird noises..

Hoping this is just the stock gauge not functioning properly... or some kind of electrical issue. Any Suggestions as to where to look first to troubleshoot? Other than oil level.

Oh yeah, and i'm running full synthetic MOTUL 10w40, oil was changed less than 1000 kms ago.
