    Tires not holding air?

Ok so here is the deal, I bought some REALLY cheap tires (chinese ones) to get me through the season as price was pretty ridiculous and I couldnt afford proper tires.

But for some reason, they are not holding air at all, none of them are. What can cause this? I am losing about 8 PSI every two weeks or so but the loss is different for each tire.

I’ve just recently discovered this so I haven’t had time yet to fully explore what could be wrong. Things that pop into mind:

    - Valve stems
    - Valve stem caps
    - Bad tires just in general
    - cracked rims (This is a possibility but I recently had one of my rims fixed, but all four??)

What else could it be? Or could my luck be SO BAD that all of these are plaguing all of the rims/tires?

    who put them on?
what was on the rims befor?
and how long ago were the last set on for?
did your installer clean the rim bead befor instaling?
did they use any lube (soapywater, axle grease, slime, siliconelube) on the bead?

could be leaking around the valve stem in the rim. oxidation in the valve stem hole. or oxidized around the rim and leaking in between the tire and rim. spray the tire and rim with soapywater and see if you see any bubbles. take the caps off and see if the valve core is leaking if so then they might need tighting. if the tires are new ther shouldn't be a problem. do you know how to date tires to see it they all came fromm the same batch? look for where it says DOT and it should have 4 numbers after first 2 are the week last 2 are year. couldn't see it being the valve caps. are they normal or A/M or are they the kind that you can fill air through the cap? had a set of the fill through(longer black with a white button on top) and a little rock got stuck in the white button and air goes out and tire goes flat whale driving and the tire blows. not fun, had it happen twice befor i got rid of the caps all togather. let me know if this helps or if you need any more help.

Better yet make sure nobody else is at home, fill bath tub with water, place wheel in tub and look for bubbles....If you have muti piece rims there is good chance the leak is at the center joint. I have a set of 3 piece Modena rims and before I refinished them they were holding air, after I refinished the rims and installed new tires three of the rims started to leak at the center joint. I didn't think I need to reseal the rims because all I did was repainted the center pieces and polished the lips. What I think is that the forces from the mounting and dismounting may have separated the silicone seal and cause the leakage.

I bought 2 used tires recently and within a week, both of them went flat on me. Each time it was the rubber beading along the inside. It can potentially get damaged when the tire is being installed on to a rim. if it's even nicked or damaged slightly the seal can be broken.

This might not be your case as when it happened to me air was rushing out extremely quick. But it you never know.

try filling with nitrogen instead of regular air? i find air almost always leaks to some extent so i fill with nitrogen as it rarely leaks. havent dropped a single PSI in 2 months with all 4 tires. only downside, no 711 or gas station has a nitrogen tire pump.

Bets to figure out if its the valve, stem, or bead. then go from there

Are these really cheap chinese tires Fullways lol? They call them Fullways because they go the fullway around the wheel...They never promised they'd hold air:P My buddy has these on his S14 and they always seem to lose air.
