RB20 Starter crosses over to a Fork lift? What?

Anyone have any information on this? My buddy with a RB20 in his gts4 recently has had his starter start to fail. So he removes the starter from the car and takes it to A shop in Victoria called Brian Roberts Auto Electric and after crossing the numbers on the starter we brought in he says "Well I will have a look at your starter tomorrow, worst case scenario a Brand new one is 189.99$, Your starter crosses over to a starter from a nissan forklift"

I cant remember the model fork lift it shares a starter with, and I dont have the product number of the new starter yet. I will come back and post that info tomorrow when I get it.

Just thought it was strange to hear that the RB20 starter crossed over to a Nissan forklift

Looks like this guy might actually know what hes talking about, I was a little skeptical about it crossing over to a forklift.
