R32 GTS-T console interface stopped lighting up

I am not sure how many of you have this issue with this old car but after a few months of owning my skyline the console display won't illuminate any longer. The AC works and I can change the settings but the console will no longer light up.

need to replace lights in the climate control unit, i recommend changing them with led lights

going to take a wild guess and say the unit is really easy to access and is right behind the center console...
Are they 10 or 15 amp lights?
