GTR Key blank code

I went to a local and near by nissan dealership in hopes to get my gtr blank cut so i could stop using the hideous key that came with the 32. The problem is, they asked for a certain code which i didnt know i needed in order for them to cut it. Does anyone know of this code and what am i to say to the guys over at nissan to cut it for me? thanks!

Uhh take it to a Normal key cutter they should be able to cut it from your current key with a laser cutter thing, as long as your key isn't insanely worn out. better yet order this r33 blank Gtr key part no. KEY00-00185 can be found at any Nissan for $40 shipped to the dealership for free

The number is supposed to be on the driver's side lock barrel. Should be a 4 digit number.

might also just to to find another locksmith and buy a spare to get cut and tested. if it works, i'll then hand over my gtr blank to get cut.

do not go to locksmiths that cuts it by eyeball they will **** it up

I was gonna say the opposite , I took it to crappytire and they f'd it up . I got them to pay for a new key .

maybe it depends on which cantire you go to? if you don't mind me asking which one did you go to markc32? yeah and to avoid a f*ck up, i'll start with getting them to cut a spare for me before they touch the gtr blank.

go to the one on steveston #5road...they have a machine and cuts it perfect....my first one i brought to a locksmith at the mall and it only opened my trunk and they said my gtr key is special material, so i rolled my eyes...cdntire cut it perfect my second one...wasted 50bux
