R34 Transmission Problem

Good evening guys and gals! So last week I took my R34 to the nissan dealership to find out why it's running in safe mode (both in auto and in manual). They said I needed to have the shift solenoids replaced. I did that this afternoon. Now, it works in manual, I have access to all the gears. But when I shift it in auto, it is still acting like it is in safe mode. I can also hear the gears shift from 3rd or 4th to 1st when I throw the stick from auto to manual mode (and vice versa).

I appreciate the help. This is my everyday car so I would really be stoked and thankful if someone can point me in the right direction.

I'm sure someone could help you, but we dont even have R34 in Canada as of now. Might want to check out GTR UK and skyline AUS.

thanks for the reply GTRADDICT. stupid question: did the semi-manual (tiptronic) transmission start with the R34s?
