brake fit the 17s.....r33 gtr came wit 17s anyway

it fits no matter what as long as ur not too low...too low u need to pull the wheel openings

i have that set up and i made sure the fenders/1/4 panels just stitting on top of the tire, no roll no pull

Depends on your definition of "fit". If you mean you want to just put them on a drive away without them rubbing then no, they won't fit.
If you are planning a widebody kit or severly rolled fenders then yes, it will fit.
If you have R32 GT-R, then go with a 17x9.0 or 17x9.5 with a 18-22 offset. This will ensure there is no rubbing at all.
ALso depends on how low your car is. If it isn't lowered much you could get away with a 12-18 offset as well.

I have 18x9.5 + 12 with a 275/35zr18 on my gtr, only a moderate role on the rear lips. lowered almost 2 inches. I only have about a pinky finger of clearance on the rolled lip, but thats what stiff coilovers are for

Would I be better with 17x9.5 +12 then?

I'm curently on 17x9 +20 and it feel like there's still a gap to fill so I'm thinking 17x9 +12 would be alright.. I don't know much about wheels, I never changed mine but I thought.. it's only .5 inch wider as for the offset, I could always fit spacer to make it like a +15.

What I'm into is concave wheel LOL

you can run some skinny tires and crazy cambers then it will work. make sure you got some fully adjustable suspension arms and stiff coilovers.

I'm running 17x9 +12's they rub the fender liners on full lock steering, and thats with a very minor tire stretch. I would say +12 is the ideal offset. It will sit your wheel perfectly flush with the fender

you can use Adjustable tension rod to adjust your caster in the front. I run 18x9.5 +12 and I dont rub the liners with some alignment tweak.
