Since a bad oil change, I twisted too much the relocation plate and heard a click.. didn't knew what it was.. until my oil temp gauge wasn't reading anything. Turn out the sensor was unclipped.

So I managed to reclip it ( tight area, let me tell you). To my knowledge, there's only one side it can clip, the other way it wont stay in.

Gauge still flash like the sensor is not working.

What could cause this? maybe some oil got stuck inside the clip and the electric contact can't be made? How should I clean it? with some electric cleaner or degreaser?

Anyone have a spare oil temps sensor?
