Need Silencer

So out of the blue today i'm drivin along and then in my rear view I see an undercover suv haulin ass up behind me and i'm thinking wtf? Then after driving for another minute he flicks his lights on. So I pull over and the guy is like so your car is kinda loud hey. I said well how could you hear it with your windows up from probably 200 meters behind me? He said license and regi....so he was obviously just bein a ****.

Long story short he pulled out a dB meter and measures how loud my exhaust is. Legal limit here is 83 dB and my car at 3000rpm was 89dB. So he gave me a ticket stating that I have to get the exhaust changed or silenced and the box he ticked on it is the friggin VI one god damit....

So basically what I need is a silencer for my exhaust. The tip is 5".....does anybody know where I can get one or somebody that could make one? I have 30 days to get it retested or if im driving the car past 30 days I get a $590 fine and car impounded.

you could throw on a stock exhaust, pass then throw ext back on.

I want a silencer and also run a cut out so i can flip a switch and bam its straight piped haha...I would use a stock exhaust to get it passed but i'll get pulled over again if I put mine back on. Need a permanent solution. Cops are straight d unit

HKS has a 120mm silencer and I'm sure Ebay has then too. You should be able to locate one locally at a place that carry import car parts, ikf not try one of the forum's sponsor.

83 dB is stupidly quiet....pretty sure some stock cars go past this I can't see how that would be the legal limit. :/
