    Anybody know what this is?

Started ripping apart my dash to finish off the job I started last year to clean out all old/unused/badly done wiring. I had already removed this mess...

    and now I found this..

at first I thought it was a kill switch or something, but thinking not, had remote starter, car alarm, Apexi SAFC that were all removed...any ideas? Just a plug protector? Still trying to figure out if that plug is oem or not.
    Thx,
    Colin

That is different. Only thing I can suggest is go to the wiring schematic in your service manual and trace it out. I've been all through my car on that side and didn't see anything like that.
    What year is your car?

It's a 1995. The more I look, the more I think it is a/m, but still hoping someone has seen it b4 and can chime in. Will check the manual tomorrow.

It looks oem to me going by how it's clipped in place, the type of plug and the sheathing around the wires.

Looks like px side to me. The white plastic looks like heater ducting. Looks clipped to the center council support brackets. Could be wrong.

Yep, you are correct, behind the stereo/hvac controls on the passenger sideof the center console. Was pointing backwards and accessable from px side well, just turned it around for the photo.
