    R33 tranny Vs. R32

Are those transmission any better than the R32 ?

I had mine ''semi-rebuilt'' 2 years ago.. and from the sound of it, my bearing or input shaft is broken/off the place.. Whatever it is, it need to be removed.

So, I thought.. instead of investing another 1500$ in rebuilt part.. why not just do like most and just swap it with another transmission selling for 500$

However, I'm thinking about it.. would my clutch still work with the r33 transmission? push vs pull ?

your clutch will work but you will need the acceleration kit or w/e they call it. not worth it swapping to a r33 box. yes they say they are a bit stronger but not worth it. id just pick up another r32 tranny and swap it in your not making enough power to do any damage to it anyway.

no i ment if you want to use your push type clutch with a pull type tranny you need to spend 500 bucks on this

The pull to push isn't that expensive, there are cheaper methods. Also, the mechanical speedo cable does work in the same spot as the electrical speedo orifice from what I've heard.

    as for this link

I think that's for a car that uses pull type but wants a push type clutch... I think.

All you need to do with the R33 box is drill 2 holes for the push slave cylinder and a hole for the pivot (or swap the front main seal cover with an R32 box)

I have an R33 gearbox and didn't need any of that Jazz.

Not for rb25 transmissions. They are different! The pull transmission was not introduced till the late r33 models being the series 3 or the 98 model. Just from my understanding of course
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!
