drain all the fluids and start fresh, then its a process of elimination
after being shipped and more then likely sitting in a car lot for sometime before being put on the ship, the fluids can spoil (lose viscosity) ..... just an idea
have you done an oil change since it was imported? might be some crazy thick oil in there like 10w60. skym used to run really thick oil, ask him if he had anything similar. what are the spec on the oil pump? and history of car? worst case scenario: previous owner drove the piss out of this car and cracked oil pump gears from banging the limiter.(i dont think this is it. but its the only thing i can think of that could go wrong with the pump)
for anyone: is there actually any signs of a oil pump on its way out?? besides your engine blowing up

and use a long screwdriver to listen around the engine bay and find where its coming from

oil pump will not make any noise its either working or not......listen to all ur pullies
if ur oil pressure sender is still original replace it...just so u know u have actual oil pressue all the time
