Im not sure how to tell the "diff"erence but to change 1.5 <> 2 way the half shaft has to be removed and a socket on a rachet inserted and turned.
There are sum videos on youtube about this, my favorite is Drift tengoku where nomuken is teaching sum dude to drift and setup his car to drift. "Loose Socks Drifting"
Go with the Pro, if the 2 way is too much, switch it 1.5 way.

this is not entirely accurate, the change made by accessing the side of the diff only affects the preload on the clutch packs. to change from 1.5 to 2 way you have to remove the chunk and change the spider gear cross shaft orientation.
iirc the only difference between the gt and the pro is, the pro has carbon clutches(at least that's how it is on my Z33). both have the same internals otherwise.
i personally love the nismo diff, but it is not very street friendly. you can treat the clutches(or restack them) and use motul 90pa and it helps---but still not a very civil diff.
