    RB30 Group Buy

Is anybody out there interested in a group buy on used RB30 long blocks and RB30 4WD adapter kits for installation into GT-R/GTS4?

We're looking at a landed cost of around $1,000 (plus or minus) for each part if we get a decent number of people.

The RB30 will work with either an RB26 or RB25 head (the stock head is only a single cam) - the RB20 head's ports are too small though.

There are a number of things you will need to do to make it fit, but nothing too major - it's an easily doable project and well documented online. The adapter kit is expensive, but it's the best one on the market - there will be no screwing around making it fit or with your oil pump pickup like some of the other kts out there.

Haha, that's why I'm buying the best adapter kit, not the cheapest

Same adapter kit R.I.P.S. New Zealand uses on all there RB30's. That is one reason why their engines are direct drop in.

Hey guys I've got a good possability of getting a rb25 neo But im woundering how hard it would be to get a rb30 bottom end and an rb26DETT to fit in a 1991 gts-t. I was told that doing to RB26DETT swap is a lot of work but would using the rb30 bottom end save me alot of work using the rb25 tranny???

How many buyers are needed to get the price of $1000 for the longblock and adapter plate?

Are these series 2 blocks, and I assume the cylinders will be checked for bore and cleanliness?
