    AMS Spring 'BRAKE' GB.....

We've had a bunch of requests for brake upgrades and parts and have decided to organize a GB on some AMS brake components. In addition we added a couple other items as well! The brake components we have limited stock of so the GB will run it's course while quantities last.

    AMS R33 V-Spec 2-Pc Slotted (16) Big Brake Upgrade
Retail $599 USD, Web $528 USD, GB Price $499 CDN!

These will fit the Z32 which in turn will fit the GTS-T fronts!

    Features:

    • 2-piece AMS R33 V-Spec front rotor kit (12.75”) designed for the Z32
    • 2-piece assembly features an aluminum hat (T6061 aircraft grade aluminum) for reduced weight and improved heat dissipation
    • AMS 2-piece rotors shave 1.1 lbs each vs standard sized Z32 1-piece rotors - each pound of unsprung weight is comparable to shaving 4 lbs off the chassis!
    • 2-piece design benefits include the ability to allow the cast iron disk to expand/contract uniformly as temperatures rise/fall under hard applications! Minimum distortion leads to increased rotor duration!
    • 2-piece R33 rotors increase braking leverage (less force required for the same braking dynamics). Multi-pillar vanes ensure maximum cooling!
    • AMS rotors feature 16-slots for aggressive bite! Slots eliminate the possibility of cracking versus crack-proned cross-drilled variants!
    • Kit includes: 2 x AMS R33 rotors, 2 x T6061 caliper adapters and hardware

Kit Requires 17" rims to fit!

Side by Side shot next to OEM sized Z32 rotors:

    Misc Pics:

Next items are the OEM sized front slotted (8) Z32 sized Rotors (Fits GTS-T)
    Web -$175 USD, GB $150 CDN/pair

Rear Slotted (16) Z32 sized Rotors (Fits GTR and GTST rear)
    Web -$175 USD, GB $150 CDN/pair

For anyone buying a complete front and rear rotor package we will throw in the AMS Front & Rear pads for Free! $126 USD (web) value!

We have also replenished our stock on the AMS Short Shifters as well:
Retail - $95 USD, GB $95 CDN w/OEM bushing included!

    • The AMS Short Throw Shifter replaces the factory assembly and is designed to optimize shift feel, while shortening throw by approximately 40%!
    • Base is constructed of billet T6061 aircraft grade aluminum
    • Shift lever constructed of premium grade steel for ultimate longevity
    • OEM shifter bushings are included

    Will fit: Skyline RB20 Non-Turbo / 1989-1999 240SX / 91-94 Pulsar GTiR

We have also extended the offer on our AMS 8 pc Bushing kit:

Retail $125 USD, GB $75 CDN

    • Replaces leaky and sagged OEM units! (Sag is the end result of worn OEM units and will lead to drive-train imbalances and premature wear in driveshafts and tranny mounts. Reduced handling ability and excessive "wheel hop" are also a problem area with worn OEM units)
    • AMS solid aircraft grade aluminum (T6061) bushings replace the OEM rubber impregnated units for a solid foundation
    • Virtually eliminates the dreaded "wheel-hop"
    • Designed with exacting tolerances

    * Bushings should be placed in freezer overnight for ease of installation!

We plan on releasing our brake-lines sometime in the Summer and will offer a GB on these as well. In the meantime we cab source other brands if anyone needs them.

Do those prices on rotors include tax or shipping? How much would replacement slotted front and rear rotors for the gtst shipped be? And your add says a full kit comes with new pads all around correct? Is the short shifter for a GTR or a GTST?

Looks like some more great products from AMS. Are you planning on looking into some OEM sized GTR front rotors? I know a lot of guys here would snap those up. I Also would like to Know if the short shifter will work in the GTR?

    Hey Vuk,

Is there any performance yield in upgrading to the 2-piece rotors but keeping the original Z32 calipers? I would think that upgrading rotor size but keeping the same size calipers/pad wouldn't really change anything other than the appearance of having a big brake kit.
