Hey guys, as you know, Nistune is a pretty killer priced tuning system! It isn't as full-featured as HalTech, but gives you full control over tuning the stock ECU (fuel maps, timing maps, knock maps, VTC for engines with VTC, injector size scaling, MAF scaling, load point & rpm scaling, etc). It's a very economical option for tuning, and unlike a piggy-back, it requires no modifications to your wiring harness! A Nistune daughter board is installed in your ECU, allowing you to use real-time tuning from your laptop via a USB to Consult cable!

Nistune also supports single and dual wideband integration!

Nistune uses the stock 16x16maps. PowerFC provides 20x20 maps, but doesn't have knock maps (the map used to reduce timing when knock is detected). Nistune allows you to use the knock maps! Nistune won't give you all the features of a Haltech, but it's a great system for most 1990's Nissans!

What Is Nistune?
NIStune is a combination of hardware and software that enables real-time tuning through consult designed especially for Nissans, and it provides the ability to:

- Retune factory Nissan Engine Control Units (ECU)
- Monitor gauges and map tracing on your ECU
- Data log from your ECU using consult, wideband and auxiliary inputs
- Perform playback using graphs, gauges and map tracing

It provides:

- Connectivity for up to two emulators simultaneously (Pocket Romulator and Moates Ostrich)
- Loads and Saves files in regular and odd/even formats for chip burning (EPROM/FLASH)
- Support for up to two simultaneous wideband units (various commercial units supported)
- Communication to our specially developed NIStune Real-time boards to perform real-time tuning

I'm in but I'd like it if we could get 10 or more people first.

Also I don't know if I trust my soldering skills enough to solder the board myself... would I just mail it to you guys or what?

Anyone in Calgary feel condifdent in there soldering ability?

Yes, if you send your ECU to us, we can install it for you! I don't suggest trying to solder it yourself as the ECU is very sensitive to heat and static. We suggest having us install it, or getting it installed at a qualified tuner shop, or at an electronics repair shop.

Let's see how many people sign up, and then we can finalize the pricing and get everyone paid and ordered!

Nistune has a prototype Type 6 board for these, but no ETA on if or when they will release it.

Currently, they suggest buying an HCR32 Skyline or Z32 300ZX ECU and using a Nistune Type 2 board. A few harness wires need to be swaped. We've done this before on Series 2 RB25's with 8-bit Z32 ECUs.

Group buy or not Im in. Can we pay before or put a significant deposit down before the Group Buy is over?
Also is it possible to maybe get a break on USB Consult cables if we get say 10 or more orders for the cable? I need one of these too but not with this GB unless it gets cheaper.
