Whose GTR in Canada is this?

    Hey Guys,

I am shopping around for a R32 Skyline right now and have been offered this car from a reputable broker located in B.C.

I was curious what the asking price was from the owner?

Also, what do you think the car is worth in this condition?

Here are the pics, any info would be much appreciated....

That's the one.....I actually spoke with them tonight.....

Is that a good price for a R32 GTR in Canda? and how is SCI's reputation?

it's a little on the low side pricewise for a GTR in my area (westcoast canada)... but we're generally more overpriced the other parts of the country. i've not seen the car myself because they're more than an hour's drive for me one way, but that car has been for sale for a month now and i don't know why no one is going for it... most of their stock sells within weeks or even days.

sci was one of the first skyline dealers out here. they've sold a high number of skylines per capita, and if you're local, there is a 6 month powertrain warranty as well!

perhaps try http://www.dkimports.ca ... damien has a black GTR in stock ready to go.

    alternatively, this is my favorite:

may i ask how u are going to get this car into the US? i was under the impression that it was not possible to import a GTR from canada into the US legally.

There are several ways to do it....some legal...some a little on the shady side....

I prefer the legal method...as I dont want to deal with the fines, etc of being caught with an illegal car.

At this point, there have been a handful that have been sucessfully brought in....

But, I, nor the others that have undergone the process care to share how it is done....

This is the only way to keep every 18 year old kid with a rich father from bringing them into the USA and hurting the elite numbers of these cars that are available.

This is why a R32 GTR in the USA will still fetch a $35,000 US Dollar price tag....more than twice what you'd pay in Canada for one..

Fair enough, If you can do it then go for it, look at some of the importers on this site and take your pick, I am sure you can find a decent car for a good price for sure. Don't just look at SCI's, I know Justin (Canadaian GTR) has one just sitting in his garage taking up sapce.

R32 rb26's have an inherent design flaw in the crank. I can't speak for the silver one - but the white one had its bottom end trashed when some assclown on a test drive downshifted from 5th to 2nd while going like a bat out of hell and let it redline for 30 seconds plus.

I challenge any car to stand up to that without something going wrong. Perhaps you should do your research, hmmmm?

Oh, and learning how to spell might add some credibilty to your posts.

Thanks for your interest in our cars.
We have actually had A92 in stock for about 2 months, not one. I find that with many of these cars the buyers want a bit more flash out of them then A92 offers. I bought this car for one reason. It is a one owner car with mostly original paint.
Is this a car for everyone? Certainly not. However I do believe that the right customer will come along and appreciate this car for what it is. A bone stock GTR that is offered exactly the way the Nissan engineers designed it 15 years ago.
Thanks again for your interest and feel free to email me anytime.
