    Twin Charged ?

So I came across this and was thinking How reliable this set up would be and What kind of power would it be making? Im not thinking of doing this since I dont own a bank. But would be cool to know if this would work with a good set up.

Twin Turbo & Super Charged good combo?

    What do you think?

Ask Lancia's Delta rally team ;P. For the style of circuit racing that the GTRs and RB26 are known for, I don't think there's need for that bottom-end power and torque. But for drag I could see it being profitable at launch if you have enough grip to cope.

It's cool, but way overkill...the twin setup already takes care of most of the undesirable lag in the middle-end. But then again those are huge turbines so I'm just shooting in the dark here.

    My two cents.

PS: looking again at the picture...is that the stock plenum!?

Like I said before, I want this engine just to say I have it :P

It sorta does look like the stock plenum, doesn't it? :S If so, holy hell...

I don't think it is worthwhile really. By reference to the Lancia Delta Group B car, that was in the mid 80's when turbo technology was way behind where it is today. Today by picking a nicely sized turbo with a closely matching compressor and turbine size you can get great power without a lot of lag. If you need a lot of low down torque like that, a smaller turbo would be the way to go.

    Very interesting though.

Evo X don't have CVT's either lol. Its a SST or whatever they call it. Still has multiple gears unlike CVTs. I still think it's a joke though. The MR should have a 6speed and not be automatic. (Manual shift mode doesn't count for anything!!)
