Unhappy couple of issues with r32 gtr front end

hey im sorry this has to be my first post on gtrc but i didn't want to bother anyone with my stupid questions before but now its been a rouph few days with my gtr and i have a couple big issues i need help with. i have had my gtr for 2 and half years don,t get to drive it or work on it as much as i would like so any due to outa town work but i love my gtr so any help would be appreciated

first off about a week a go i noticed the car was making a loud clicking noise while turning sharply at low speeds. looking under the car now i can see both right side cv boots are torn i assume this is what was causing the clicking noise please correct me if im wrong

secondly well ... like a retard about 4 nights ago due to three 14 hour days and not enouph sleep i feel asleep whiling driving (stupid i know) snappped out of it seeing i was headed for a curb turned sharp but still hit it. traffic was flying by so i did't want to get hit so i drove it off the block to a side street very slow and got it towed. looking at it at home i can see the right wheel is turned in to the left ( damage occured on the right front) while the steering wheel is staight and left front wheel is staight. the rim has pretty good curb rash, thers some fluid leakage that i think could be from the front diff, there are marks on a couple of steering components as well as some seperation on well heres the pics . . .

this is the fluid leakage . . .

    the cv boots . . .

how much the wheel is turned . . .

    the body damage . . .

SO BASICALLY the wheel is independently turned in, hit marks on steering, fluid leakage, cv boots torn and some good paint damge, and that seperated part
just want to know what all u think is going to be damaged. and if it sounds like the front diff is going to be f#%*ed and how expensive that would be

mainly it'd be great if anybody new of a good honest shop in edmonton ab also any good body shops in edmonton so if i can't get it done myself

    Thanks

bent lower control arm and damaged ball joints, possbily damaged cv axle, probably damaged your tie rod too.

its not too bad, definitely fixable. replace those things that i listed and see if it looks straight, if it does then take it in for an alignment and you're good to go, if it doesnt, then you need to find out what else is bent and replace it :P

+1 its not nearly as bad as you feel it is.

looks to me like you should pick up a CV boot kit ($50 maybe?) you can replace those CV boots yourself very easily, just re-pack with grease, and lock new boots in place. all should be good as long as dirt hasn't got into the joints.

as for the damage, yea you probably just need a new ball joint (the one in ur photo looks seperated) and a tie rod (to correct the steering angle)... if damage is super bad, you'll also need a lower control arm and possibly a tension rod. its all reasonable though so dont worry too much.

as for a shop i cannot reccomend any, i dont know whats in AB< but keep us posted and good luck.

its most likely from the cv axle when the boots ripped, the grease inside will spray everywhere, makes a huge mess, looked about the same as my car when my boot ripped.

the JDM shops in montreal have hundreds and hundreds of axles.. fronts and backs, if u can't find one out there, post up, maybe someone in MTL will go get one and mail it to u. or you could contact them by phone... my best reccomendation is Nagano japanese ... they've got the cleanest stuff, they also are willing to make videos of anything u wanna buy so you can see it first! look em up, they'll help u out.

As everyone said, replace the footwork and control linkages (tie-rods) on that side.. Balljoint does look a bit shifty.. i would definitely just have everything replaced to alleviate further headache..

CV boot tears are common and oil splooge flings out of there like no tomorrow when it's up to speed so its normal to see lots of goop..

HOWEVER.. saying that.. the image you took of the underbody, i'm assuming that's the drain plug for the sump? It's hard to tell.. But at any rate that doesnt look like bearing grease or differential fluid - it looks more like engine oil.. Could be either (since the pic is hard to tell) your front or rear main seeping slightly? Have you ever noticed any oil leaks in your driveway prior to this?

also oil on the bottom of trans isnt the rear mail seal...its can be the back side of the rocker cover leaking down....just a thought
