Gtrs with motors are so cheap now you are almost better off to find a car with a built motor and pull it out and part the car out or sell it as a rolling chassis

Ya thats true i guess hey. I found one built rb30 on skyline australia but he doesnt want to ship to Canada, pretty intense motor too.

The Nismo 400R was a Nissan Skyline R33 GTR that had a 2.8L engine called RB-X and later an RB-GT2, which was built by Nismo and an outside tuning company called Reinik now called Reimax. They sell RB26 and RB28 crate motors. The RBX28 produces 544hp and 448 tq easily and can handle alot more since it has forged internals, upgraded valvetrain, high volume pumps, etc. using Mines tuner company parts. Also there is a list of parts used on the site if you can read japanese. -R34 crank

-Eagle rods

-CP pistons

-ACL race bearings

-Step 2 264 cams

-valvetrain

-N1 oil pump and water pump

-ported and polished cylinder head

-HKS GT2530 turbos!!(same as the ones used on the Mine’s R34 Skyline!)



The only thing that should be changed is the head gasket (used OE gasket)



The turbos alone are $5000.



This thing was run for 300kms only and ran perfect. (it was on the built R32 we were trying to sell for $17k) There was a customer who wanted to buy a GTR, but could only afford $10k, so we took the motor out and put a stock one on there.



This is already assembled and all machining done.

vs a clean build? Sounds fine to me other than the gasket. Worth a call to get a price.

A built 28 should run over 15K just for the engine. 20k would be more realistic.
