How to keep my GTR running without any problems!

Hey guys i just bought an black R32 GTR absolutely gorgeous, the engine doesn't have that many things done to it, power wise its really only air intakes and exhaust, now I'm gonna buy new NGK spark plugs and possibly even change the coil packs too. Im also gonna change the oil and other engine fluids. For now i just want to keep this car running at its best, reliably with no problems. Is there anything else i should do to help achieve this? Any ideas will be much appreciated, thanks!

do a change/flush on all your fluids: oil, coolant, ps, clutch, tranny, front and rear diffs, transfer case. do spark plugs, check brakes, check your suspension if the car is straight from japan check tie rods control arms etc for rust and replace if necessary. thats all i can think of right now

ya especially with there millions of recalls lately... especially the new one with the leaky fuel tanks on an estimated 7million brand new vehicles...

maybe a toyota from 10yrs ago, but the stuff coming out now is junk

Don't beat the $hi+ out of it. Stay off of the rev limiter. Be weary of vacuum leaks and coolant leaks. Clean your MAFs. This with all that's above and she'll be as good as a "10 year old Toyota".

    I beg to differ

1995 rav 4 , 155k on it , one set of brakes , one set of tires and regular oil changes etc.

2008 fj cruiser , 92k on it , regular service only.

never had a problem unlike :-

2009 ford escape - 22k on it- worn out tranny bearings due to a bad design and harmonics from engine revs killing the bearings . their fix ? reprogram the shift points soit cant rev so high , result ? takes 1/2 hour to overtake someone unless you want to throw the shifter.

2003 dodge caravan 45k on it as well as 3 new trannies under warrenty.

GMC jimmy - i dont think the post character limit would allow me to list the problems it had to have taken care of, so i wont bore you with it

All the GT-Rs I owned has been super reliable like any Honda or Toyota cars! If your car is clean and hasn't been beaten on and well maintained in the past, you should be fine!
