    HIDS wrong bulb?

    i ordered HID kit for my gtr and just got it in the mail onl,y to find out it doesnt fit and of the cable i have just wondering if i ordered the wrong kit or they shipped the wrong one or i have headlights that arent stock i ordered a H1 bulb kit

    Is your car pre- Aug 1991?? Then you will need H3C kit (H3 would work as well).

    I used H1 on mine as well and followed this DIY:

    Take a look at the pics to do a comparison, it might not be fitting because you need the above modifications for HID kits!

    or you could buy clips there around 20 bucks and go that route... i cant find pictures of it online but there is a place in Toronto that sells them

    Ive have searched for hours in the past and gave up.

    OP - Dont be bummed, other than having to return and buy another kit, your golden. H1 HID Kits in R32s are a pain in the A$$ and replacement bulb holders are hard to find. H3C are plug and play. Also if u can, buy or wire a relay to run them off of.

    i dont mind grabbing em for u guys from the same place i got them for and ship them out to you guys(paypal me the money i guess or wire to my bank account) ....i just have to see if they have any left ...it basically replaces the metal holder thats attached to your light right now but has a clip built in to hold the bulb in all u do is plug the negative and positive to the oem harness since it only has 2 wires ...i used a h1 for mine
