    Coilovers for an R32

    Hey guys,

I am in the process of purchasing my first GTR. The first thing I want to do is buy a new wheel/tire combo and coilovers. I have heard from some people that modifying the suspension requires modification to the 4WD, is this true?

I was looking at Cusco Zero-2e coilovers because I like the idea of the Econ-control unit that allows you to adjust dampening with a computer. Any idea where I can pick up a set of these for the R32 GTR?

Feel free to throw some other suggestions out there with regards to coilover choices, you guys know the best and worst brands for our cars.

I have a set of tein ha coilovers(just the fronts though) and I could sell them to you really cheap.

Cusco is very nice especially the ones your talking about. I know reins can come with this as well.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

I bought my Teins on RHDJapan. They have EDFC control which is the computer control that you are talking about.
Also depends on what kind of coil overs you want? Do you want something that has a good ride quality and just want to drop a bit for looks?
Do you want super stiff track coilovers and then want to slam you car?

I want relatively stiff coilovers for track and street.

My last car had Tein Superstreets with the dampening CRANKED and I liked those, I could even go stiffer.

In the end I want the car slammed on 17x9.5 +12mm rims with the fenders rolled.

I've just purchased a brand new set of coil overs from Cam at Speedtech in Sask. The total bill came to $1440.00 with ship and tax from the states. Before i purchased these HSD coils i made sure to do some research on them through various car forums that weren't only dedicated to Skylines in general, found all very good reviews on them even though they are a new brand. Check the Driftworks website, their team uses these and I think they have some reviews on them. Ill let u know how I find them in a few weeks

Thanks man, I'll definitely check these out. At $1440 it sounds like excellent value.
