This is my plan!
Bucket is in.
Can't run cage yet.
Running harness bay to adjust angle of the harness NOT to mount the harness. The harness will be mounted using grade 8 eyelets in the rear seatbelt mounts. Done and Done.
Result: Harness bar adjusts angle as to not compress spine and rear seatbelt mounts are stronger than mounting to rear parcel shelf. I would not mount to the harness bar as most done look to structurally sound. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this, I'll be ordering mine soon!
Ebay man, don't be scared!

Hey mate you got a pic of your setup? I too need something like this.
Also what kind of model Skyline?
GT-R
O O SKYLINE O O
The only other safe way than would be a custom bar or a cage. Harness bars have been run like that for years, it's when you mount them to the bar you have problems. It's simply car widths that determine te harness bar to use. The sparco ones are the same deal
custom harness bar. dont leave it to a $60 ebay item
Do it right.
If you want a harness bar to use a harness, you need a cage or else you might get crushed if you flip over.
Cage + Harness + Helmet. Use them seperately and you compromise your own safety.
