    This doesn't look right?

I'm just in the middle of removing my intake plenum on my GTR (Big PITA) to replace the old throttle chamber gaskets and I noticed a steel line with a bend fastened underneath via a small bracket. Now my car has an HKS EVC III but it was previously disconnected in Japan and only reads boost. Is this a possible air leak? I'm not sure where the line comes from exactly without removing the plenum.

it looks like a vacuum line, I'm trying to source which one it is. I'm looking at my intake side in my basement, can't seem to find that line yet but I will keep looking and get back to you.

I remember removing that .It is infact a vaccum line.As long as both end are hooked up or plugged you dont have to worry .Pull on each end to see if one side is disconnected.
My car keeps on stealing my money .

That looks like the breather hose for your front diff. Follow the hose and check to see if it attaches to the top of the diff, if it is do not plug it.

Thanks. I just removed my intake plenum and it does indeed connect to the front diff.
