*looking for thread how to change tranny fluid*

Hey fellas,

Were is the best Place to read and follow simple directions in replacing tranny fluid?

if no hoist.
use jack stand and level car
remove filler plug first
remove drian plug and drain fluid
put back drain plug on nice and tight not too tight its tapered anyway
then put 4.1 or so liters of mtf whatever you have using a fluid transfer hand pump
let the fluid spill out of the filler hole then put the plug bakc on


done

my drian plug was seized to ****...so i had to suck out the fluid from the filler hole...lol
good luck

btw i used 2 bottles of redline mt90 and 2 bottles redline mtl...good enough

If you don't have a pump, you can gravity feed it from inside the car
Just take out the panel surrounding the shifter and feed the hose to a person underneath the car who will then insert it into the filler plug
The drain & filler plug are 1/2" drives
Like markc32 said, loosen the filler plug first before the drain plug or it will get seized
I tighten the drain plug until it is almost flush with the tranny
