    Dyno Results with water meth

Last week I finally brought my car up to LightSpeed Innovations in Red Deer to have it tuned with my water meth.

I removed my intake and tapped the runners to run 6 x 0.5mm nozzles (1 in each runner). I wasn't %100 convinced that 1 or 2 nozzles would deliver sufficient flow to all the cylinders so thought I would do it right.

I am running the Aquamist HSF-6 water/meth kit and let me say this kit was everything Cam said it would be plus more ! The install directions were extremely precise and easy to follow. The package comes complete with every little piece you will need right down to the small electrical connectors ! For the first time ever I installed a piece of aftermarket equipment with out using any of my own shop supplies, not even a single zip tie !

When I got on the dyno we established a base tune that my Vipec would automatically default to in the event a nozzle plugs, tank goes low, flow drops off ect ect.. This tune was straight 94 octane and was within 9whp of the tune Cam did for me last year.

After tuning with the water meth the final results were a gain of 48whp and 44lbs/ft torque with only increasing boost by 4psi. Cam was able to tune the car to run leaner with much lower egt's. The car feels like a absolute monster now !!
I was skeptical about water meth but now I'm a believer

Hey Trevor are you running meth as well ? It's night and day the way my car reacts to boost now when driving around on the meth map. I'm not sure where my timing and fuel are at with the meth compared to the pump gas tune but I will be extracting this information when I get home and hook the lap top up to the Vipec.

There was much more room to go harder but I'm spinning my N1 turbos pretty hard, yes I said N1 turbo's hahaha !! Over 550whp with modified N1's and water meth

I honestly have no idea, and I can't say with any certainty that they are actually N1's because I havnt seen them. Andrew from Z-tune built my motor a few years ago and I bought the turbos from him, he told me they came off a Formula D R34 that was pushing around 600whp on race gas. This is all I know so until I remove them I can't prove that they are actually N1's.

The way my cam's are dialed in peak torque is at approx 5100RPM but Max HP is still climbing at 7000RPM. My rev limiter is set to 7250RPM so not sure where it plateaus

That's awesome! Meth is certainly the direction to go in terms of safe power.. It's amazing what can be done by reducing heat in these turbo applications. Glad it turned out well! 550 whp is a nice number!

what's your mixture of water/meth % and are you measuring by weight or volume?
