400-450 hp with a single borgWarner turbo

Ok winter is coming and i want to invest a lot of money into my car !
My goal is to have a complete single borgwarner turbo setup and all what is required with it at the end of the winter.
So i can instal it into my car for the spring ! ( I want to Do track and street )
I wanna do it mostly by myself, I have a garage ,lots of tools, hydraulic lift

My car is a 1989 bnr32 with 120 xxx km(bought it in 2007,kept in a garage from 2008 to 2010(money problem lol), I putted it back on the road spring 2011(joined the army no more money problem LOL)
-Turbo are getting old (runing 1.0 bar on stuck turbo)
    -the car is pretty stock
    -nismo twin plate clutch
    -hawks brake rotor and pads
    -yellowjacket coilpacks
    -decat pipe
    -boost controller/turbo timer
    -31/2 exhaust
-I will run a compression test (this week)

Ok i want to get more power, I seek between 400 and 450 hp or maybe a lil more
    My questions are:
-Do any of guys have a setup with a Single borgwarner Around this range of hp?
-Can a healthy Stock RB handle 400-450 hp ( with minor modification)?
-What do i need with the Turbo (injector size, wastegate, manifold, dumppipe, ecu, blablabla, etc)?
-Is there any way to reduce lag?
-Which Borgwarner should i use ?
Any help, experience, discussion will be apreciated !
    thx,

    thx,
My opinion... If your looking for 450 hp. Dont go Single. The conversion is to much $ for hp. Just get N1 turbo's and your good for 500 hp.
    Should get you started.

    ^ what he said
The price to convert it is not worth the gains. For less money you can add N1 turbos with an upgraded intake/filter/maf
Upgrade to the tomei ornother brand manifolds and a good twin dump pipe into the exhaust. A good boost controller and your golden! Spool wil be quick, power will be what you want
A single turbo is best for high hp, unworthy had a twin set up

if you wanna go borg warner single, look at the EFR 7064 twinscroll, on a good twin scroll manifold, the EFR series are great because you can get them with an integrated internal wastegate, which saves you tons of money because you dont have to:

    buy 2 wastegates ($300-$400 EACH)
less fab work for the exhaust
and the manifold should cost less too if they dont need to have it plumbed for dual waste gates ($400 less on a Full-Race manifold)

the twinscroll EFR7064 is rated for 550hp and should have lightning fast response on an RB26, especially with some mild cams like poncams or something.

there are even smaller ones if you want even more response.

    twin scroll = epic win.

i also have a single borg warner. but not the 8375 the big boy 9179 fully built motor about 20k into it so far ive made 421awhp on rgs heartbreak dyno @12psi. will be bumping up to 29psi in a month or so with a triple plate clutch. however if i was shooting for anything under 500awhp on a stock motor i would stick with twins. n1 are going to be your best bet. with a stock motor stock head the spool time is going to suck and not worth the money. going single is a all or nothing deal. do it right or dont do it at all imho
