    No-name greddy suction kit fitment?

Hey, im wondering if anyone here has fitted their r32 gtr with one of those no-name greddy suctions style kits that are sold on ebay.

Ive found a few for under $400 and want to know if its worth trying it out?

i know they are ment for r33's & r34's but from reading a while back i think there are people that claim its pretty simple to fit this kit to an r32.
    Slight modification doesnt worry me.

just looking for a cheaper alternative to the $1200 greddy kit.

I would be swapping the cheap filters that come with it for my clean apexi filters.

For the record, i am looking at this kit because i like the way it looks mainly, but also i think it will help with 2860-5r shuffle if i decide to switch back to a maf controlled ecu from my current djetro setup.

Also are there any reasons you might suggest i not go with this kit?

    Thanks!

You can pick up a brand name one used for slightly more. I would just do that.

I havent switched yet, but im thinking about it. Dont like the chunky characteristics of the map controlled ecu. Afrs seem so random.

It's cheaper for a reason. If it doesn't fit, send it back. If it fits, just laugh at the guys like us who spend $1800 (HKS) on the real ones lol.

No..not really. Apparently you haven't bought hoses for your RB before. All oem hoses uses different compound and layer in different areas of the engine.

To the OP, I would still give it a try and if you make it fit. Get new filters and better T-bolt clamps. If you need some help on welding and stuff, let me know. I can probably give you a hand since I am doing all the intercooler piping for my car right now.

So you can afford to run -5s (unless you're not using them to the full potential and should have went with smaller turbos) but a good suction kit is a tough call? OEM pipes work fine, get T bolt clamps. A good suction kit DOES NOT stop shuffle. I went all out on the best suction kit and I have shuffle with -5s. Single turbo is your best solution. Less weight, more power, less lag, less cost, less maintenance parts, no shuffle.
