Could this be a fake N1 oil pump?

Looks like its being sold by a Nissan parts dealer but the price seems too good to be true.

can anyone tell if its legit?

The MSRP for a N1 oil pump is $250 in the US so this price is not outrageously off. It's sellers from other places that are jacking the price up!

PS I have order stuff from this place before and they are a legitimate Nissan dealership so if they sell counterfeit parts they could loose their dealership license with Nissan.

I believe the regular US list price for the regular pump is $320 and the N1 is $390. If they are saying that's a legitimate N1 pump for that much I'd be very cautious. Or maybe it's just a really good deal.

I would never risk buying such a critical component from ebay. if the oil pump could be serviced without removing the engine, then at that point i would consider it, but since you have to remove the motor to do the oil pump i think saving 150 dollars is not worth it.

150 bucks is 150 bucks if its real Nissan then all your doing is throwing extra money away for not trusting a NISSAN DEALER. Its really highly doubfull a Nissan dealer would sell fake parts.

Yea man I dont think I would ever trust buying a part that crucial or any car parts for that matter off of ebay.
