    where to start??

    hello everyone, I'm new.

OK, here is my situation. I think that the Nissan Skyline is the best looking car in the world. but i can't get one because no one is selling one and i can't drive it even i have one because they only comes in right hand drive.

So i want to make my own. I want to convert another car into the skyline R34. I really don't care about the type of engine for now. I just like the looks.

So which car i should buy if i want to convert it into a skyline (left hand drive)???

    thanks

Buy an R32 that has already been converted to LHD. There are a few.

Well, you couldn't be looking that hard, cause there are lots of GTR's for sale.
Anyone can drive RHD, you just need to try. Anyone I have ever let drive my GTR has always said "Its not as hard as I thought it would be."

Save the money and get the real deal.

I've looked very hard. the closest i've found is a R32. I want a GT-R34. I've never found a left hand drive one. I did manage to find a R34 engine, so that's where i get the idea of converting a car.

I've seen an Acura Integra being "converted" to an R33, well at least the look. There wasn't an RB26 under the hood, but the tail of the car was similar to a Skyline one and the fenders were sort of Skylinish... All in all, a lot of work had to be done to make these body pieces fit. But why the hell go through all of this process to get a car that only "looks" like an R34? Why try to fool yourself?

    R34

$200,000 will get you an R34 imported. Anything is possible with money. Or you can steal someone's GTR badge (like 2 of mine now) and buy a civic or prelude gtr body kit
    No build thread.

because i love the look of the R34. to me, the R34 is on the same level as lambogini or porsh. I don't know if you guys can understand this. but the R34 is my dream car. Just like other people are happy with a Lambo clone, I would be happy with a R34 clone. It's like love. I know my girlfriend is not Halle Berry, but she look like her and it turns me on.

My budget for the R34 clone is $50000. so $200,000 import is way over my budget.

    2. Save time and money, talk to Ben@J-Spec reguarding this:

Spend the rest of your cash on fixing the common issues, and if there is any cash left, convert it to LHD if you have to.

That is one hell of a body kit, even got the R34 head lights and everything, bloody hot imho. Oh and I have to say I admire the restraint of anybody reading this post and not totally flaming the poster for wanting to try and convert something into an R34 without the engine...I mean a body kit on an older skyline is one thing but what was he thinking? That prelude in the buy and sell with a full body fiberglass shell?
