Gtr Nismo #283

Hi guys !

I just bought that sweet Gtr from Bern.

As you can see, someone was looking for a new stereo for his car and didn't bother unscrewing the center console before pulling everything out (including the climate control and boost controller !).

For me, this is a long term project car. I don't know how far I'm going to take it, we'll see.

So I guess the first thing will be to install a new deck and fix the center console. It's going to be somewhat hard since there is nothing left in the center console for the deck to bolt on... oh well we'll see.

Same thing happend to my car with the center console. I fixed it myself. WTB: Aftermarket timing belt.

That center piece has been repainted? They never matched the paint to the shift boot ring or ash tray door

Yeah, I think it's not the original because that's actually the second time this car was broken into.

So you're saying that it should be black ?

I'm not too sure. They went from being smooth and black to being textured and color coded to match the dashboard. Mabey someone changed the ashtray and shifter boot thingy and weren't concened about the color.

So how was it originally ? Boot, ashtray and bezel were black ? or gray ? Just curious...

Only nismo edition has the textured grey console. Ashtray should match also. I can vac mold you a new centre piece with a real nice grade carbon fiber if thats your style. Send pm if your interested
