this has been done many times. I've heard pricing from 4k including tranny (bought for about $2500) and 10k to do this. I'd like to follow the same path as the R32 has a weak gearbox. This will be a nice project if you go through with it.

Pretty sure you need a transmission cross-member too.

    you need
-tranny cross member(but you can shim the r32 one)
    -R34 shifter assy
-the front piece of the propeller shaft or a complete r34 driveshaft
    -front drive shaft
-R34 flywheel (not the same thickness than r32/r33)
-pull type clutch(or a pull to push conversion kit)

Not so much hp, more like torque that probably would damage the gearbox. From what I understand a dyno measures torque and converts to hp via a formula.

Look at R.I.P.S Drag-R R34 GTR with torquey RB30 engine, as I think it's producing up to 1200hp with what seems to be the stock R34 GTR gearbox. Not sure if that car runs that much hp on the dragstrip -

    It's driven aggressively for a 9.7 sec run -

Could have gone quicker, as I think he backed off before the line due to powersteering belt failure and car headed towards centre line.

It is said to weigh over 1700kg with full street trim.

    FROM what I understand:

The R32 speedo pickup will fit into the R34 transmission. So that solves your speedo issues. Just take the whole bit out of the tcase and put it in the R34 one, and hook your speedo cable up to that.

the rest, I know nothing about.

if I did this swap I'd just import a whole R34 GTR and swap everything. And part out whatever I don't use.
