    Complete rebuild and Single conversion

    Yes I am happy to be in the blowed engine club due to a good oilpump design on the the crank......

    I will attach all pictures that i have and I will try to show some interesting issue.

    My goal is to reach 450-500 WHP with a small single turbo setup.
    I am looking for a safe setup and something steetable.

    I will remove my Hicas system, AC system, ABS system,
    battery relocation, oil catch can, oil cooler and oil relocation fixture,
    Map sensor (d-jetro ECU), cover painted, silicone piping, all custom piping,
    new air intake with single 90mm throtle,
    new interior (light grey and dark red, similar to the Z-Tune), etc...

    Part list:

    Piston CP 87mm, 9:1 compression (need more response),
    rod eagle,
    ARP studs,
    head gasket cometic 1.3 (I will plan the head and the base),
    new complete oem gasket kit,
    new acl racing bearings kit (rod & crank).
    valve guide replaced,
    head processing (balancing, cam, valve, all processed 900$),
    N1 oil and water pump,
    jun colar,
    oil plug for head (flow issue),
    hks single manifold (modified for t4 dual channel turbo),
    turbo garett t04s 60-1 ball bearing, .70,
    tial waste gate,
    tial bov,
    injectors sard or other 700cc,
    fuel regulator,
    fuel rail,
    etc...

    I will share all my problems during my rebuild, all my decisions, all good things, trick, good information, etc...
    I will give a review on all parts...
    I will show you the dyno in April ! With an analyse on the results.

    I need your opinion on one thing ! For now I choosed the colors Metallic pearl white for exterior with gunmetal nismo mags . What do you thing about it?

    What did you have for an oil pump and how did it fail ?

    I'd like to say that i have not heard much good about the cometic head gasket, seems like the bandwagon is to stick with oem, hks or tomei. I figure if you go the whole way, it suck to have a bad sealing due to a crappy HG.

    A single 60-1 will probably spool up as fast as your 16G's (because you're not hampered with cast manifolds, tiny inefficient T25 turbines, and awkwardly restrictive compressor inlet and turbine discharge angles) and make a good bit more power. He's not bolting a GT47 onto his motor.

    in addition to what tokes said, for example a borg warner S366 or GT4088R will hit full boost at around 4200 rpm which is pretty much the same if not better then twin 2860-5 like everyone gets. twins are old outdated technology. too much technology in big singles now to ignore. just my .02$

    Was it the oem or N1 oil pump? and why does everyone disable or uninstall their hicas? i mean apart from drifters?

    oh and when i first read title, i thought you meant SOHC ops: lol.
