    Velders BNR32 Build

Well I've been picking away at my car for a little while so I guess its about time I start a build thread.

The Car: My car is a 1990 GT-R, and I've had it for a little over two years. I found it in Japan here http://www.japaneseusedcar.ca/ucar/1...neGTRNISMO.htm. It was shipped to Canada by DJ Auto in Edmonton.

    Here are a few pictures:

Sorry about the hugeness lol, to lazy to resize.

The car has made an awesome summer and winter car for the past two years, then one day around spring time it decided it didn't want to run anymore. Wasn't anything major, got it going again, and decided to do a compression test cause I hadn't done one yet (ran strong so didn't bother).
    Numbers were: 130, 150, 145, 155, 150, 150
Not to bad except the 130, but I decied to drive it for the rest of the summer (no track days as planned ) and do a rebuild over the winter.

The goal: A reliable (as possible ) 500whp, that I can abuse at the track every once in a while. I'm looking more for response and midrange power than a huge power dyno queen.

Here is the parts list, this is whats paid for, a few more things will need to be added before the end:

    -ARP Head Stud Kit
    -Ztune N1 Crank Collar
-Timing Belt Kit, 100K w/ Tomei Belt & N1 Water Pump
    -Gasket Kit, Engine, R32 GT-R RB26DETT
    -TOMEI GASKET SET (HEAD/MANI/TBs)
    -TOMEI VALVE SPRING RB26DETT B-TYPE
    -ACL Bearing, Connecting Rod Set
    -ACL Bearing, Main Set
    -CP Piston Set
    -ATI Super Damper
    -Eagle Connecting Rods
    -JUN Oil Pump
    -Dual -8AN Head Oil Returns
    -HKS 2530's
    -Greddy Pro Cams 264˚ 9.7mm
-Tomei older style turbo outlets (Thanks NismoS-tune!)
    -Tomei sump baffle
    -RS*R Downpipe (Thanks NismoS-tune!)
    -NISMO G-Max twinplate (Thanks C-unit!)

    What I've Got:
    Mega hot downpipe

    Mega hot outlets

Mega used clutch (Parts for rebuild orderd)

This picture is from last weekend I think when I decided to pull the turbos off. They are (or were) OEM R34s. This is the rear one, I LOL'd pretty hard.

I told my car to stop eating rocks and sand but it just wouldn't listen. Wonder if there were HKS podfilters on there before the ARC box haha.

I also have to thank Bradon (bfriggi) for coming by to lend a hand every once and a while. And I must say, if it weren't for Franc (NismoS-tune) the lump would likely still be in the car! But its all good, I get to tear his out soon hehe
