    Focused Motorsports BNR32

Well this has been long overdue. After 3 years of many posts, questions and searching. I figured it was only fair to create a project thread.

    History
I bought this R32 GTR just over three years ago, sourced by Import Concern. In my search I tried to find a skyline that was mostly stock with lower km. In my case this turned out to be a mistake.

My fresh from 1990 Nissan Skyline arrived in Halifax July 09 with its one Red Recaro, Momo Race steering wheel, and sporting a set of SSR integral rims. I was pleased no body damage, clean engine bay, factory nissan exhaust.
Engine and suspension wise it was complety stock.

    First base line dyno run.

Mid summer I put it up for the first time. Despite my coil packs and clutch failing on the drive home. It made 239whp, 223tq.

Awesome, I love the attention to detail, I wish I could the same overhaul to mine.

Why are you regretting buying a stocker? For the time being I'm loving mine, it's purely me and nothing else.

The only reason I regret buying something stock is because of the huge amount of money that was needed to get it back into proper running condition. Repair work was neglected on my vehicle before it arrived, but I agree it is nice that everything is done the way I want it.

    Bolt on parts

This is a very good example of what NOT to do when you have a problem.

I had a bad misfire, and at partial throttle it would lean out and fall on its face.

So instead of trouble shooting. I did what any person who reads to much does. Assume they know what it is.

    Parts list
    Yellow jacket coil packs.
    New coil pack harness.
    Apexi Power intake kit.
    New Nissan 300zx MAF's
    550cc injectors
Mines ecu that came with injectors.

Turns out none of this fixed my problem it was simply 02 sensors and boost leaks, but with the new parts
    and a 3" exhaust. bumped my 239whp and 223tq to 321whp and 283tq

Shortly after this I had an oil pump failure caused by me way over reving the stock pump to 9000rpm. Spun # 5 & 6 rod bearings and destroyed my crank.

The next day the engine was out.
