    wrong fluid at the wrong place

    ya this is sorta stupid but i put power steering fluid in the clutch master cylinder. of the clutch master cylinder is that little canister with a red cap to the right of the master cylinder. how can i fix this? or did i screw up the slave or sumthing?

    it is very simple to flush the fluid out of the clutch system.

    Go to the tranny and you will see a piston/lever assembly with a single 12mm bolt and hardline.

    Take the bolt out and the line off.
    push the clutch a few times
    pour some new dot 3 fluid threw to flush the ps fluid out
    tighten back up once you know the ps fluid is gone
    fill resivoir
    bleed air from system

    so i didn't screw up the transmission or the slave cylinder?

    really wouldnt worry about it man, the hicas fluid is auto transmission fluid, clutch fluid can be brake fluid also. What Im trying to say is there all very similar, you can flush the fluid out to be safe but alot of the fluids used are all dot 3.
