    Knock sensor wiring

Wiring up the RB26 right now...Anyone know where the blue plug that is by the front most knock sensor connects too? It has a short wire so it can only go a few places..

    I'm stumped.

I don't know what the connector looks like but the front sensor goes to ECU pin #23 and the back sensor to ECU pin #24. So you might be able to work your way from the ecu back if your harness is not covered in electrical tape...

I'm sure it goes into a steering rack or something. It's not really long enough to reacha nywhere else on the main harness.

I'll take a pic of it tonight. It comse up beside the dipstick though and it's blueish color... 2 prong orange inside.

I tried to take a pic of mine but I can't get my camera in there...

The plastic thing you see in the upper part is the fuse box. Basically if you follow all these connectors (the "lower" side of the pic), they all end up in a wire loom which merge in another bigger one that goes in the area where the knock sensor is (in my car anyway).

I can't really see without taking a couple of parts off but it looks like that might be a good guess to where the knock sensor plugs in. If I have time tomorrow I will move my filter reloc kit to have a better view.

I think the knock sensors actually connect in the lume up to a huge plug that is behind your plennum. It's right by where the main harness comes into the engine bay. If you reached down to where your knock sensors would be you could probably feel for the plug that I'm talking about.

Bump, anyone know? Almost looks like it's wired into the knock sensors as if used for det cans or something... I have no idea where this goes. Anyone mind reaching by their dipstick and feeling if they have a plug like this?
