    limp mode?

alright so between start up time and hitting full operating temperature i can not rev past 2500, but when it hits full operating temperature the problem completely goes away, i recently changed my mafs over to the ams z32 and am fairly certain they are wired correctly, fuel pressure is normal (37psi at idle) i have nistune configured to run the mafs. i really dont know where to start to look for this problem any thoughts?

Had same problem once I installed my AEM. AEM provided new pickup wheel for my CAS (Cam Angle Sensor). Had CAS rebuilt with new wheel and problem solved. My guess would be replace CAS.

Nissan ecu won't read the AEM CAS wheel correctly.

Nissan/Hitachi uses 6 and 360 holes for the optical sensor to read.
AEM/Motorola (left over from Honda design) uses 24 and 1 hole configuration.

One is not better than the other. Just compatibility issues. if you're lucky you can program AEM to work with Nissan CAS. But AEM CAS won't work with Nissan ecu... even with Nistune... atleast never seen or heard of it being possible.

Does your ecu show any codes?
did your car ever run correctly with your new set-up?

it shows no codes i did run correctly after the new mafs where put in and runs correctly when it hits full operating temp, i dont think the cas would make a difference in engine temp, the way i wired the mafs is
    2 - b
    4 - c + d
    5 - e

    first time it was

    2 - b
    3 - c
    4 - d
    5 - e

but that didnt work correctly and these where the 2 ways i found of doing it

I have the stock wheel that was removed from my cas to install the AEM wheel. If you want it let me know and I will come up with a price. I also have an extra CAS if needed. I had recommended replacing CAS.

Well if your engine is cold and you dont have the fuel correction setup for the lower engine temps it will be lean as hell while warming up , this will cause alot of coughing and farting until you reach proper temperature.
