    turbo hits valve covers.

    got a top mount manifold with a holset hy35 on it but it hits my rb26 valve covers. what have you guys done to avoid this?

    Get a smaller turbo!!

    See if a spacer can be made to fit in between the manifold and turbo....

    xs power manifold. and hy35 is perfect for 400hp. we fixed it. just cut and welded. was just asking cuz i didnt wanna butcher it but my buddy did a great job.

    Had the same problem so I had to get my welder tocut the flange and slant it back towards the strut tower.
    Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!
