Paul step one, bring it down to my shop and we can throw it on the hoist. We can get a big bar that will attach to the ratchet and have enough torque to get this sucker loose. Let me know if you need any help

That nice of you to offer Chris and i would do that .... if i hadn't already drained the oil lol![]()
My mechanic removed the gear stick and filled the transmission oil through there! Hope this helps!

Leverage is your friend throw a bar over the end of your breaker bar and give her ****.
Put a floor jack on the breaker bar and jack the bar up? Remember, it's counter clockwise to loosen! BTW how long did you run your air gun? I must have spent one minute if not two once to loosen a nut but it did finally come off.

You're mechanic buddy did that to fill the transfer case, so either you misunderstood him, thinking he said gearbox oil, or he's not what you say he is
Best thing to always do is to open the fill plug first, always, so if something is stuck or jammed, you can always get around to a place that is set up better.
This happened to me with my front diff cover (fill hole first of course) and using a longer break bar was starting to strip the socket hole, so I beat the wrench into the plug, with a maul hard enough to almost break it, then it turned out.
No build thread.
