help asap!!! brand new clutch slipping!

So heres the deal. i throw my freshly fully built motor in my r32. im running a os giken twin bdp440. it was used but the discs are mint lots of meat. so as im doing my break in the clutch will randomly slip. im running no boost and didnt rev past 4k. but randomly the clutch will slip im going to say about 1 out of every 10 shifts. it happens most frequently if i am in a higher gear with low rpms say <2k and i try and give it a bit of gas. the rpms will jump up about 2k as the clutch slips then i let off and it will grab. but thats only with me at around 30% throttle. my mechanic says he thinks its prob oil on the discs and it needs to burn off but ive already put 100+km on it and its still slipping. also the release point of the clutch is almost at the top of the pedal like the very top. at first i thought the clutch pedal needed to be adjusted but we looked at it and its fine. im supposed to be tuning this weekend and i need to figure this out. any insight?

Are all the parts been greased up. My father had a camaro and forgot to grease the shaft where the pilot bearing sits and it did not work right. I'm guessing you will have to remove it and inspect the clutch assembly.

Is the clutch fully engaging ? Unfortunately I bought a used os twin on e with lots of meat on it, it looked almost new. It slipped over 5000rpm everytime

I have just installed a brand new OS GT2CD twin plates. There were three things that need to pay attention to:
    1. The release bearing carrier needs to be replaced with lower depth one than Stock one (The GT2CD comes with a correct one though)
    2. The OEM flywheel bolts needs to be shorten a bit as the OS flywheel is thinner.
    3. The part on the front tranny cover which is around the input shaft needs to be trimmed about 4mm to clear the twin plates.

If you did not do the No.1, then it will definitely lead to the clutch can't be released fully.

Another things that I can think of are
    1. The Slave cylinder did not return fully for some reason
    2. The pressure plate, flywheel or idler plate is too thin.

long story i was supposed to be on the dyno thursday but showed up to the tune with a few vaccum leaks and the maps werent getting enough vaccum so the tunner decided he wanted to pull the intake manifold and drill into it for better vaccum. also my injectors werent getting enough resistence so the injector driver on the pfc was overheating and shutting off. the shop has my gtr right now and will be ready to go tom but my next day off is thursday so thats when im going to try and get it done. ill keep you posted for sure evilgtr!

I agree with xcye, check your clutch slave
When my clutch was replaced they couldn't build pressure in the slave as it is old as ****
It's one of those components that issued so much and with the age of our cars....
If it's never been done I'd do it. My clutch feels so much stronger because of it

Lets see those power numbers already lol

chris thanks! and r33gtst the clutch is good for the time being so im not too worried about it. with meth im looking to max out the 3bar map sensors on my pfc djetro which is 29 psi. shooting for 700whp but we will see what she does. chris you said you wanted to hear a video of the exhaust lol. its too fawking loud. im scared driving the thing on the road everywehre i go. i was backing the car out of the shop the other day and there is a high rise apartment complex accross the street. i was doing so at about midnight and atleast 8 people came out on their balconies to see what the noise was. ill try and post up a sound clip once its tuned.
