    no boost

So here is the story, get my car and take it for a spin, 0 boost. Gauge and boost controller not getting anything. Checked vac leaks and found none, so i hook up a home made pressure tester for my IC/Bov/pipping. at about 2 psi of pressure i hear a hissing sound and the listen around and find the blow off valves leaking air. Could my no boost problem come from the BOV opening under so little pressure or should i be looking somewhere else?

sounds like you found it. There is good reason why I threw out my stock BOV as well as the entire recirc piping system.

I ran the SSQV, but that couldn't hold the boost I am running, so I swapped for a HKS Racing BOV (single), and I've been good ever since.

Do not throw out the recirc piping....it is there for a reason. I would start by taking the BOVs off, cleaning it and see what's broken.

This. Pull the BOV off. Might just be gunked up and need a cleaning or just a refresh of some internals. Guy I know had his BOV's start venting constantly at 4k RPM, cleaned 'em out, and boost was back.

yep, that reason being adding twice as much piping to leak. Once you start pushing big-boy boost, potential leaks become a paramount concern. When you're tuning, less is more.

The recirc debate has been discussed 1000 times over and I dont intend to reopen it here.

Were not talking 1000 hp GTRs here. Nissan R&D added it for a reason.

I know of the recirc problem. That was not what I was asking in the first place. The question was more that since the blow off valve is leaking would it cause a 0 boost problem or would i still boost little.

You said at 2 psi it opens correct? So that's the most boost your making. From what you describe.
Traction is optional, so are zipties

I don't run 1000hp, I have a streetable R32. I had lots of boost problems, and throwing out the recirc system helped, but was not the only culprit. Different strokes for different folks.

At the very least, toss those worthless stock BOVs; many aftermarket BOVs have recirc parts so that they can be incorporated into a recirc system. HKS includes a recirc hose mount with their kits. BOVs cause innumerable boost problems - single is better than double.
