I am looking into a intake kit for my R33 gtr and i cam across performance-wise.com i see they have a intake kit for $300, i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this kit. seems like a good deal but i don't want it if the quality is not there. Thanks

I picked up an intake pod from them, and it shipped right from Hong Kong. It looked exactly like the Greddy one, but when I disassembled it, the foam that they used for the filter looked just like one of those mattress tops. I kid you not. It had all the points/undulations on the inside. As soon as I saw that, I wasn't interested in any of their other products, because it seems to me that they will just use whatever is laying around. No way you can tell me that foam was selected for it's perfect filtering properties.

Foam is crap anyway, everytime I see those mushroom filters I cringe. They are ment for the incredibly dust free Japanese soil, and maybe the lower mainland of BC, but that's it.

Autobahn has some really good stuff for the price, you may have to fiddle a little with the fitment but hey, that's what wrenching is all about, you want pure bolt on with a min. of hand tools go ahead and spend 5 times as much.
