    venting cam covers to atmosphere via hose to under car

    what do you guys think about venting the cam covers to atmosphere, i really don't want to mount a catch can so i am wondering what should i expect, smelly?
    Trust T618Z,Carrillo Rods,CP Pistons,Tomei 280 10.8 lift ProCams, Tomei Spec C Springs, N1 Block, ARP, ATI, ATL, Bosch 044,Sard 800cc,PFC,Z32 etc.......

    FS: tomei 2.6 full counter crank, reground/nitrated.

    smelly, and a retune, since you won't be recirculating a certain amount of air like stock

    tune wont be affected, if at all.


    you can always reroute it nto your exhaust.

    I've been running mine like that for a little bit. No MAF's though, MAP tuned.
    I don't even have hoses, she's just been venting in the engine bay for now lol. Surprisingly you can't smell it, and it hasn't been making a mess (mind you I only have like 2000 kms with that setup).
    I'm going dry sump this winter so those will be blocked off with check valves and my vent will be in the trunk off the oil tank.
