    Tune and Chip Burning

    Hi Guys,
I have a 1992 GT-R and I want to tune it. How can I read and edit a chips? Do I need to modify the stock ECU? Does anyone have a step-by-step on how to tune and burn the chip? I will be able to tune the MAP but I just want to know how can I access it? What software can I use?

Thank you guys for your help

This is a really open ended question so I would suggest you make a decision between the two options below and do some searches. It is likely you will find the majority of your questions have been answered many times over. Searching first will help keep you from getting flamed.

    Options:
    1. If you want to keep stock ECU then search Nistune on this site for all of your answers
    2. If you are willing to pay the cost to change your ECU then there are an array of options: PowerFC, ViPEC, Haltech. Search these and they will provide you answers.

You should do some research on Nistune, all I can say is awsome bang for buck!!
