Maybe this has been covered already but I can't seem to find anything. I've got new ams z32 mafs that I'm hoping to install over the winter, thanks to the increased diameter of the z32 mafs over the stock mafs I see problems on the way.
For those of you using z32 maf's: what have you done to make it work?
Please do a search its been covered in great deal.
But to get you started you'll need a need plug which you can find many places online just search "z32 pig tail " and u will need a retune.
EDIT: i reread your question , sorry as far a the diameter is concerned most people who upgrade their maf do so because they upgrade thier turbos . if thats what you are doing the solution seems obvious, but if you are not what you will want to do is for RB20/25 make a solid intake pipe and buy the appropriate couplers. and for a 26 you can build some great premade solid piping as well.
